Decon QuickBerms®

The Decon QuickBerm® delivers a critical solution for safe and effective decontamination in situations involving hazardous leaks, spills, and contamination events. Designed specifically for first responders and emergency personnel exposed to dangerous chemicals, biological agents, or radiological materials, this berm creates a secure, watertight containment area that protects both people and the environment.

Featuring multiple wash-down zones separated by interior walls, the Decon QuickBerm® allows personnel and equipment to pass through separate rinsing compartments, preventing cross-contamination. Its single-piece construction forms durable watertight compartments that isolate and contain hazardous liquids safely, prevent runoff from entering the environment, and help you comply with EPA Clean Water Act regulations.

Available in two-, three-, or four-zone configurations, each berm is constructed from lightweight, chemically resistant PVC-coated fabric that combines durability with easy transport and rapid deployment. The eight-inch-high walls provide easy access for personnel. Optional grates keep personnel and equipment elevated above harmful liquids for added safety.

Decon QuickBerms are ideal for emergency response situations that involve the cleanup or disposal of hazardous materials. These multi-chamber berms can be used to decontaminate personnel or equipment that have come into contact with dangerous chemicals or substances during the cleanup process.

The Decon berm features multiple washdown zones that allow users to keep solutions or liquids separate. By using the interior walls of the QuickBerm, up to four washdown sections can be created in each berm.

For situations that involve the cleanup of multiple hazardous chemicals, washdown sections make it possible to rinse personnel and equipment that have come into contact with dangerous substances while keeping substances isolated from each other.

The Decon QuickBerm retains hazardous substances during the decontamination process. By providing a secondary containment solution that prevents dangerous chemicals from entering navigable waterways, the Decon QuickBerm can be used to satisfy Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations that fall under the Clean Water Act.

The optional grating gives users the option to elevate personnel and objects above liquids during storage or washdown. Using the optional grate to store drums and barrels prevents corrosive liquids from damaging containers in the event of a leak or spill.

The lightweight PVC coated material used to construct the Decon QuickBerm is easy to clean. Depending on the chemicals that the berm has come into contact with, Decon berms can be washed with soap and water or a disinfectant solution.
