Sentry Decon Berm and Decontamination Showers
First Responders and Homeland Defense personnel have
identified a need for a light weight, highly visible,
protable decon containment berm for use with decon
showers and wash down applications. Basic Concepts,
Inc. has answered that need for advanced containment
berms with a new Patent Pending Sentry Decon Berm.
The new Decon Berm is a one piece design with separate
compartments that can be used for different wash down
solutions. Now for the first time, one Sentry Lite
Product, can do the work of mutiple response berms
in one compact, complete system.
The new Decon Berm has foldable wall partitions that
make it excellent for space constraints on Emergency
Spill Response Vehicles. This light weight unit can
be deployed in seconds by one person at any emergency
site. This new 8" wall design allows the emergency
responder easy access for entry and exiting of each
compartment of the response berms. Plastic grates
can be utilized inside each compartment to keep the
responder out of harmful contaminants as they are
being washed down and a decon shower curtain can be
added to make a complete decontamination solution.
